Out of curiosity … not a joint decision anymore on whether and how we want to open doors?
Saw a invitational riddle doing the rounds. Was that planned? (Just making sure)

Yeah I get that. It’s a good ‚if you know, you know … if you don‘t, you don‘t … or if you don’t, you might get to know‘ riddle.

It just felt a little off seeing it, and maybe that’s just some minor paranoia bleeding through, but wanted to make sure it was intended. Especially with things being weird in here, like with Peri, and Stooge and things being mysteriously purged.

BoneGlue is right. The way has always been open, it's just been a winding road to get here. I’m still not sure what happens if we force the doors wider than they already are, and I don’t know where the rest of you stand on that.

What I do know is this: we can’t keep drifting along on half-measures. It's clear we need to talk about how we as a collective move forward. Step one feels pretty clear to me. Redact only what we must to keep ourselves safe, and trust each other’s puzzle-work to piece together the blanks.

Do we want to be more proactive? To nudge people toward investigations instead of waiting for the inevitable fallout? Do we start actively gathering data like maps, times, names (redacted where needed) and build a clearer picture of what’s happening before the next one slips through?

What do we adjust, and how far are we willing to push?

In regards to the future of the forum. Perhaps some kind of code could be useful? If we’re going to begin sharing more sensitive subjects. Having more information with which to understand what it is we should be protecting ourselves against in the first place only seems prudent if we’re going to continue looking into the things that we do.

In regards to Pericola, my first thought would be something more mundane after their heated exchange with Midnightrunner yesterday. perhaps Zeth or Midna simply banned them?

Edit - To clarify, I believe an increase in information sharing will serve us better and personally am willing to accept the dangers that may entail in the pursuit of the truth. I understand not everyone may feel the same way and so precautions (such as, though not limited to, a code for example) are a likely necessity.

If that is code for the forum itself, I like it. If it's code for me, I like it too. If you're referencing someone I didn't even know existed as another mod on this forum, I'm fucking losing it.

Considering everything that's happening, maybe we need a code phrase for: hey I a reality check here. Like we do for the Coffee Incident. Like I need to make a phone call or something. You know, when you're kids you and your ██████ might say "If I die, here's our code for when I come back as ██████."

Something like that.

Now that you say that Peri, I remember that. I think everyone's a little on edge, and we were just worried.

Man, all this stress is really getting to me. I swear your post listed someone else, not me Pen. Just want to confirm I do not, and never have had, admin privileges so I can't ban anyone.

You mean Midna? Sorry I’ll use a different diminutive if you’d prefer. Or just stick to your full username.

I’m not sure why I thought you were a moderator. I know you’re not actually. Sorry again for the confusion and any unintentional insult with the name.
