[SIGHTINGS] Just passed over part two

The second time it happened was when I was in college. I had a part time job that worked with my class schedule. But I wanted to buy a new car, not used, but brand new. So, I got a job at an insurance company working part time at night processing claims. During the summer with school out, I could have asked for more hours from my day job, but I liked having free time during the day. Anyway, the insurance company told us that we could come in early to get ahead of the claims inventory, as the fall would bring in an influx claims resulting in back logs. I had come in early around two o’clock, and about three-thirty I got up to get some more claims to work. I saw our clerk just standing there with his arms at his side and staring off into space. They were not the most personable, so I didn’t give it much thought. Around five PM, which was our normal start time our supervisor gathers us together and tells us he had been hit by a car two blocks away from work and had died. I asked what time did it happen? She said about two hours ago. Which would have been three o clock, I had a flashback to Sam, but this time I didn’t say a word.
Since then, I have just ignored things like this, as what is the point?
The only thing similar is both had died within an hour of me seeing them and they were close to a place they had frequented.
