I was on my way back from a concert out in ██████, and on my way back, I had to take a detour off of highway ██████.
Everything seemed fine, I was listening to an old mix cd I had found, and then all of a sudden this really loud static started playing through the speakers, and I looked down to turn the volume down, and as I looked back up I had to slam on the breaks, because out of no where, there was this pale deer standing in the middle of the road.
I have never seen a pale deer before, but the weird thing is this area isnt known to have deer around. I honked the horn a few times to try and get it to move, but it just stood there, staring at me. As i looked closer, it looked like its eyes were red, kind of like what you see on a photograph, and it seemed baring its teeth, which also didnt seem like normal teeth.
As I looked at it, I kept getting that weird feeling like someone is behind you, and that sensation like someone is about to touch your neck, and so I turn around real quick, and of course no one was behind me, but when I looked back in front, the deer was gone.
Freaked out, I just wanted to get home. As i pulled up to the intersection at ██████ and ██████, I saw there was a really bad accident with a semi and a SUV. It looked like someone may have died.
I'm pretty sure if the deer hadnt of got in my way, I might have been in that wreck. When I got home, I tried to do some research on pale deers, and i found some weird website that said some cultures had legends that lost souls that were wandering around would sometimes appear as pale deer. They also believe they were messengers.
I cant find the website anymore, but I grabbed a picture from there that looks nearly identical to the one I saw
