[SIGHTING] Lycanthropy?

Several years ago I lived in a certain midwest city known for wind so strong it'll blow you over and pizza so deep you can swim in it.

One night I was taking the trash out at work. First thing I noticed was the smell. Don't get it sideways the alleyway never smelled exactly like a penthouse suite. Didn't look like one neither.The smell that night though, it stayed with me for days. Smelled like a dead animal or maybe a living one, I dunno. Either way as I am throwing the bags in the dumpster I am thinking jesus christ that smell is so bad I gotta hold my breath.

So I am there, holding my breath at 2 in the morning and its cold right, cause its January. So I am shivering, tossing these bags in and I hear a growl or something. I mean this was loud. like I thought it was a car at first, but I heard it again and realized it couldn't be. It sounded... angry man I dunno. It was kind of far off though, round the corner of the alleyway. At first I was thinking what the fuck that is a huge dog and this dumpster stinks and I'm cold as balls lets just go inside, right?

I can't really explain why, but something inside me told me that if I walk away now, I'll miss something incredible. So, I creeped my cheap little work shoes and everything they were carrying over to the corner of the alleyway and peeked around. What I saw there has made me who I am today I swear on Mike Ditka.

It was a beast of some kind. The best way I could describe it then. It WAS NOT a person. It was on all fours at first and yes it was dark but there was SOME light from the moon, and a back porch light from the back of that Pakistani place (good sandwiches). Now at first I couldn't tell what it was doing, but I could see it might have fur and long, pointed ears. Which makes you think, oh its a dog or something. No. It was not a dog.

It was getting into something, you know, eating. I couldn't see what, that was behind another dumpster It was eating like really fast man. It's business was chewing and business was good. It was Rob Reiner in a McDonalds drive thru. I must have been standing there like an idiot with my mouth open for a good 2 minutes. Then I saw it lift its head up and howl. This howl was serious man, so loud and not pure. Like, when a dog or wolf howls it sounds smooth right? This was rough and froggy.

When it lifted its head up like that it started standing up, not on all fours but on its hind legs and I saw it more clearly for the first time. This thing was not a wolf. It was not a bear. It was not any normal animal. It was lean, and muscular. It stood over its feast like yeah man I am strong. Like it was proud or something. With its head tilted back and those teeth man. I saw the teeth when it stopped howling, They were incredible teeth, sharp and long. His snout was shiny with probably blood right? I dunno why it started snarling but I didn't stick around to find out.

So this was the most terrifying and most interesting thing that I had ever seen in my whole life but after maybe 10 seconds I realized I could be dessert. While I consider myself pretty sweet I didn't wanna test my theory and I ran so hard one of my cheap shoes didn't make it.

Now after I calmed down and had some time to think, I decided to do a little poking around. I went back to the alleyway a day and a half later and there was police tape all over and some blood that was cleaned up piss poor like. So I had to ask around and found out they found some girls body back there and Azlan said she was all fucked up by an animal and eaten. I am thinking, I should fucking tell someone right? What the hell am I supposed to say though? The cops gonna believe teen wolf ate a girl?

I also found out that it WAS a full moon that night which is what confirmed it for me. I never really believed that stuff myself but I do believe what I see, you know? Anyways, after that I started trolling sites like this to find out if anyone else heard anything.


I found a post that said they seen something similar. IN MY CITY. Not too far apart in time or space from what I seen. So, I ask them what night it was and they tell me. I check what the moon was doing that night and Waning Gibbous. That ain't full.

So, I think there are a few explanations here.

1. This ain't no werewolf but something else?
2. That other guy was making up what he saw after he read my post and I'm just insane
3. There is a god damned Werewolf living and eating people in Chicago.

I intend to find the truth about this.

Bet the cops wrote it off as a dog attack, maybe even a bear though those have been. Nearly non-existant in Illinois since the 1800s. Good job trusting those cheap shoes and hoofing it out of there! Keep faith in your instincts and maybe invest in some silver
